Re: DEI & Ginn

Wouldn't it have been funny if Junior would have went to Ginn Racing. He would be right back with DEI.

If he were to have gone to Ginn, EVERYTHING going on today would probably not be happening.

Wow... just when things were looking up for Regan Smith getting a full time Cup ride... he gets screwed. What are they going to do with him now? Beyond sticking him in Truck, that is. Nothing against the Truck series... I enjoy it too.

The truck series is a much better move than letting him rot in Cup Lite. If he were to get trapped there, it could be the last we see of him.

This is true... however if the boy wants to be in the cup series the trucks are nowhere near the same as the cars. So he would have to accept cup lite if he wants a chance( a slim one at that) of dancin in the cup series.

Maybe the car and the truck are far apart now, but the Car if Tomorrow is very similar to a truck. You may say if Smith runs the trucks, he has an advantage.

That's what bugs me... he had his dance card all ready to go full time in cup... then nada. I know that's part of the game, but its terribly sad. I should be happy for Almirola (and I am), but sad for Smith.

I'd rather see him go to RCR than Shrub.

I think Shrub is going to DEI. with Martin as a stabalizing force there, they now have the capability to deal with him .. and Shrub will be among guys in his own age group (except for Martin, of course) that should lead to more comradarie between the drivers.

won't speculate on Regan just yet .. wanna hear who's lookin' first.

Will he? Is it a give that he'll be back, even part time, in 2008?
