| Re: DEI & Ginn "In Bobby Ginn's defense, he bought a very deep hole when he got into racing. The organization was behind on paying its bills. But he was also his own worst enemy. He should have taken what was there — two Cup teams — and perfected them." This is just a quote from here FOX Sports on MSN - NASCAR - Charting the Chase: Ginn over his head? where you can read the rest of the story. I mentioned on another board just last week ,that like MWR,Ginn bit off more than he should of at one time . |

| DEI adding Mark Martin to its driver roster Dale Earnhardt Inc. is adding Mark Martin to its driver roster and growing immediately to four Nextel Cup teams in a merger with Ginn Racing that will be officially announced today, the Observer has learned. DEI and Ginn employees were told Tuesday that Martin's No. 01 team will compete under the DEI banner in this week's Allstate 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. As announced last week, Martin and newcomer Aric Almirola will share the No. 01 ride for the rest of the season. A source confirmed early Wednesday morning that Martin and Almirola will also share duties in the No. 01 in the 2008 season as planned. DEI is still negotiating with other drivers to replace Dale Earnhardt Jr., who is leaving the team at season's end.-- Charlotte Observer Charlotte Observer | 07/25/2007 | DEI adding Mark Martin
to its driver roster |

| DEI and Ginn working out details on switch Sources said that over the next few weeks officials from DEI and Ginn Racing will work out details on which employees will be retained. Martin will use engines prepared by Hendrick Motorsports at Indianapolis, then switch to engines built by the new partnership between DEI and Richard Childress Racing in subsequent events. Ginn Racing had been leasing engines from Hendrick Motorsports. Also left unclear, for now, is the status of Ginn development drivers Jesus Hernandez, Kraig Kinser and Ricky Carmichael. -- Charlotte Observer Charlotte Observer | 07/25/2007 | DEI adding Mark Martin
to its driver roster |

I'd say the Ginn going out of business sale didn't begin until the day it was known that Junior was going to Hendrick.

From what I have heard the only reason that Ginn is named as co-owner of the #15 is so that the #15 can take the #14's points. That was a NASCAR rule. |

| Re: DEI & Ginn That's unofficial,my friend. I don't have a NASCAR Rulebook (who the Hell does?); it's just the way I have heard it explained. |

| Re: DEI & Ginn They could still pick Kyle up to drive the 8 car. And they said Martin and Almirola was still going to share driving duties in the 01 as planned. |

| Re: DEI & Ginn evidently, but never fear, thru the use of modern technology I've been able to reconstruct the sequence for you. first Bob said: then I said: then Steve said: and now we're here (wherever that is disclaimer: non-pertinent dialog removed to protect the guilty.
