Watching the Busch at Texas...While one of the recent threads was full of comments regarding the three in the 'booth', I don't recall anyone making reference or comment on Jeannie Zelasko...she is doing a heck of a job and seems full of energy...not-whithstanding that this family sport has room for the distaff set...I am glad she is there, she appears knowlegeable, concise and peppy (and she is pretty). Wha 'cha think?

Isnt she the one that said........"he's going to switch to his backup engine"? LOL........I think it was Matt Kenseth having trouble, and she meant to say backup ignition.

Yeah, Nevadastars, I think you are right...there is a rumor that Carl Edwards is in conference with her as we speak to see how this is done...he could have used a back-up engine during the Busch thing.; Good catch on your part.

Nevada, Wampin ... the two of you and myself could do a better job in the booth than the 3 pea brains in there now. If Ihad to pick just one to get rid of it would be DW. He needs to stick to the scripted Aaron's commercials with his lil bro.

Thanks for the complement (??it is a complement isn't it?)....I quite agree with you regarding DW. He has long since used up his talents and should stay and home and help raise the grandkids. He used to be entertaining, and he used to be a pretty good drivers, but the, I used to be worth something too...

There are times that we should re-evaluate ourselves and let the younger set take over....(with exception of Ned and some fo the smarter set.) Funny you mentioned announcing...on another thread I mentioned that I did that for 9-10 years all over Alaska for the States meets...Fairbanks, Anchorage, Willow, Kenai, Soldotna and such....had a ball...didn't get quite as dirty as when I was on the track, but almost as much fun...got intoduced to real, fire-breathin' white lightning....WOW...pretty good punch for an old Oregon boy!! Shore has a hellova time trying to call the races all day on Sunday...They told me I had all day sover to Sunday up !!
