NASCAR officials fined Morgan Shepherd's Busch Series team $1,000 for a violation found during inspection July 13 at Chicagoland Speedway.
Crew chief Chad Beahr was the recipient of the fine. The penalty was because Shepherd's car did not have a jacking bolt made of solid magnetic steel, according to NASCAR.
