I was wondering if any of you would be getting Nascar 08 on July 23rd (if you have a PS2, PS3, or Xbox 360? Because I am getting it the day it comes out and play with my racing wheel in the cockpit view!

I might get it, but I'm still not done with 07!!! I don't play in the summer. I only have a cup left to win. I've won all the others, and I have about 30 plates left to get. I played over the Daytona weekend, and I hadn't played since May 19th.

I ride my Motorcycle fanatically from March until Oct-Nov. Even during the winter, on better days! The PS takes a backseat then!

I've got Madden for my Wii ( no online in 07, but there will be in 08 ), and I've played NCAA, MVP Baseball, and NASCAR in the past. Not so much Tiger. Looking forward to a new Fight Night, NASCAR or MVP if they ever come out for my current system.

I've been kicking around the idea of getting the 360, but I have to many regular Xbox games now. but the 360 graphics look great. and then I'd have to start collecting games all over. I'd love to try to race on line, I tried years ago on a dail up , but we do have cable now. I just not sure what to buy and how to hook it up. some of us old guys are just casual players.

yeah, definitely ... i'm new to the NASCAR series though, more of a beginner level player.

i play in the view from behind the car, mostly because it's easier to drive that way and plus i like to see the car. i like to spend a lot of time designing the paint scheme so i want to see it during the race.

i use the controller because i just started playing (NASCAR '06), I do plan on getting a racing wheel.

A) does your racing wheel have a gas and brake pedals?
B) what one would you recommend?

A) Yes it does
B) For the 360 the Microsoft racing wheel is the best wheel I have ever used only if you use Force Feedback. I use it for all of the games in my signature.

i like the nascar series although it isn't very realistic...

i have heard that nascar racing 2003 season is amazing, has anyone ever played it?

the mods help keep the game up to date and it seems like the online play is pretty cool...

too bad it costs $90 anywhere you find it since it is still played so much...

I have the wireless one but the force feedback needs to plug in to an outlet. And trust me, you need force feedback because without it, it won't center itself and it feels like your flying a spaceship!

NR2003 is the best NASCAR game to date. Sadly, Sierra is shutting down the servers, although we do have a petition up to try and stop that. From what I've heard, Dale Jr races in a league on the game. There is a new game coming out for the PC called Arca Sim Racing that is supposed to be the most realistic racing game to date. I guess we will see when it comes out.

I tried that 2003 on the computer, it was great I painted a car to mock my 80 monte dirt car, I was evan able to put my own sponsor on the quarters.

when I tried to go online I got cable, and MOMO wheel.
I couldn't get the car to turn at all, hit the wall constatly. finally just gave up and haven't tried it since (2 years ago). I be interested in seeing this new arca game.
