I couldn't get the car to turn at all, hit the wall constatly. finally just gave up and haven't tried it since (2 years ago). I be interested in seeing this new arca game.
problem was the sponsor decals on the quarter panels were too heavy thus upsetting the weight balance.

when your wheel centers, is it perfectly centered?

Mine is slightly off to the left.

Is there a calibration screen or should I just exchange it?

done, new one centers properly. it was funny because i thought the 2nd was doing the same thing, but after plugging it in, it centered off to the left but then corrected itself with a few small movements. i thought here we go again ... but so far so good.

also, it's pretty hard to drive with it after using the controller ... did it take you a bit to get used to the wheel? did you mount it?

ps - how cool is DiRT, love that game.

it took my a day or two to get used to it but it is worth it! I absolutely can't play another racing game without it! I mounted mine on a table heavy enough so that it wouldn't move because it's really hard to drive when thewhole table is moving!

Re: Nascar 08

got me thinking I need to proceed with the racing box I was going to biuld.
basically a arcade type that you sit in and the wheel is mounted along with a larage monitor. all deicated to racing games.
but not sure if I got room for it anywhere, still trying to fit/justify a pool table
