PSSSSTT Kurt is no longer at Roush.

I think if he's on the outside it was Hendrick not honoring his contract that put him there.

I know, but the guys at Roush said that Busch ousted himself from everyone else!

So you should honor a contract no matter what, This would be the only sport that does so, You get to stay in your contract by winning and not wrecking alot of cars!

Why have contracts when drivers or owners bail out of the them when something better comes along? Honor is a thing of the past, the almighty dollar rules today.

Whats the point of having a contract if you're not gonna honor it? Takes a big man to lie and break his own word. What I think is really wrong about it, is the owner can decide mid season to break the contract and the drivers gone, but the driver can't decide that and leave then unless the owner let's him.
So he takes a driver out who has won 4 times since 05, and puts a guy in that has won 2 times in that same time period. Yes I would say the wins done it. Also can't be the not wrecking that got Jr the job, he's wreck quite a few cars himself.
Jr is a good driver, but in my opinion, no better than Kyle.

IMHO Kyle was over pricing himself. His agent was telling Rick well if you don't give us this then that team over there will. Rick said GO over there then.

Exactly what he said, and a contract is only worth the paper its written on, the honer system is no longer in effect!

A contract should not be only worth the paper it's written on... If a contract is written, it should be honored, by driver, by sponsor and by owner.

I can understand that he did that and Hendrick said no, for an extension contract. But not for the contract already in place.

I believe the problem is that so many clauses are written into it that it actually makes it easy to get out of them if either party really wants to.

Re: Gordon insists Busch still part of Hendrick team

I like Kyle for 2 reasons:

1. He's a good driver
2. He doesn't take crap from Tony Stewart.

Sure he's whinning, hell, they all are!

I don't see Jr. boohooing over not getting support from team members at DEI now that he's leaving. Jr. can drive like crap, and reporters still follow him around.

Somebody needs to school that little boy and teach him a lesson on what it takes to be a popular driver in NASCAR.
Tony would be a good teacher.

There's your difference.
