Brad Keselowski will drive JR Motorsports' No. 88 Chevrolet in the next three Busch Series races, beginning with this weekend's USG Durock 300 at Chicagoland Speedway, the team announced Tuesday.
Shane Huffman started the season in the No. 88 and was 13th in the Busch Series point standings before being pulled from the ride in favor of team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. last weekend at Daytona.


Keselowski will also drive the car at Gateway International Raceway on July 21 and O'Reilly Raceway Park on July 28. Keselowski began the season with the underfunded Keith Coleman Racing team before that team shut down.
"I've watched Brad for a while and he's shown a lot of promise in the few Busch races he's run," Earnhardt Jr. said in a news release. "He became available at a time when we were looking to make some changes to our program and everything just lined up for us to put him in the Navy Chevrolet for the next three races."
Keselowski drove in place of the suspended Ted Musgrave in the Craftsman Truck Series race at Memphis on June 30 and was leading late in the race before being bumped out of the top spot by eventual winner Travis Kvapil.
