| Truck Series' Fike arrested With heroin NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Aaron Fike was arrested in an amusement park parking lot after authorities found a substance believed to be heroin in his sport utility vehicle, police said. Mason police said Fike, 24, and his fiancee, Cassandra Davidson, were arrested Saturday afternoon on charges of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Bond hadn't been set and both remained in Warren County Jail late Sunday. Police officers at Kings Island amusement park in suburban Cincinnati called Mason police after noticing suspicious activity in Fike's Toyota Sequoia, Mason police said in a release. Fike drives the No. 1 Toyota Tundra for Red Horse Racing in the Craftsman Truck Series. He is eighth in points with 1487, 566 behind series leader Mike Skinner. "We are working with NASCAR to obtain further information on the incident and will release more information as the facts become available to us," team owner and general manager Mike DeLoach said in a statement. Mason police are investigating, and drug analysis results from the Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory are pending, police said. ![]() SI.com - Racing - Truck's Fike arrested for heroin possession - Sunday July 8, 2007 11:22PM |

| Re: Truck Series' Fike arrested With heroin This is sad. This kid hails from a town not far from me. But I guess I shouldn't be suprised. The whole town has a bad reputation. Druggies, molesters, skinhead/racists. Even the cops get in trouble with the law. |

| Re: Truck Series' Fike arrested With heroin NASCAR suspends truck series driver Fike indefinitely NASCAR has suspended Craftsman Truck Series driver Aaron Fike indefinitely in the wake of his arrest on charges of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Fike, who drove the No. 1 truck for Red Horse Racing and was eighth in the truck point standings. was arrested July 7 in the parking lot of Kings Island theme park outside of Cincinnati. He pled not guilty to the misdemeanor drug paraphernalia charge and has a trial scheduled for Aug. 28. His initial hearing on the felony drug charges is July 19. NASCAR suspended Fike under rule 12-4-A - actions detrimental to stock car racing - and not the NASCAR drug policy. Fike's fiancée, Casi Davidson, also was suspended. David Green will drive the No. 1 truck this weekend at Kentucky Speedway. NASCAR suspends truck series driver Fike indefinitely |

| Re: Truck Series' Fike arrested With heroin I think what it does is give them one more chance to straighten their lives out. Shane Hmiel was given the same chance and sadly blew it. Punishment should be rehabilitative if at all possible. I'm sure the percentages for total recovery are slim but none the less the opportunity should be given once anyway.

| Re: Truck Series' Fike arrested With heroin I heard Fike went to court today. All the talk has been about the stuff found in his truck and NASCAR suspending him. What I haven't heard anyone say is whether NASCAR actually has tested him. |

| Re: Truck Series' Fike arrested With heroin That does make one wonder if they have tested him... but you can bet if they haven't they will as soon as his punishment is handed out... provided he isn't put in prison or is let off the hook. He'll be under intense scrutiny
