no "trying" there .. I said exactly what I intended.

and I must applaud you're efforts. you've done a superb job of making my point: you've been clear and concise; easy to read; easy to understand.

except, that is for your "common sense and logic" statements. they seem to merely state your opinion. common sense is something the majority would instantly recognize as true and logic is based on fact with clearly defined deduction. please help us understand your leaps across the voids: when A and B are not related, we fail to see how C could be deduced.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the big deal is just the stupid comment. Even if he did know hamlin was loose, it's pretty hard to let off at Daytona and Talledega, and not get behind.

The wreck was just unfortunate, the words were the issue, at least to me.

pieces of track coming up are an accident, running over someone when you aren't good enough to beat them without running them over is just that, running them over.

I fail to see the skill. Maybe we should just start sabotaging the cars in the pits. That is "whatever it takes to win". Cheating is also, "whatever it takes to win".

If you car isn't faster, and you don't have the skill to pass them without wrecking them, then second will have to do.

I don't mind a bump, or some door to door banging, that is great. BUT, just getting under someone and turning them is just not skill. It's dirty racing. And that is my opinion.

And the fluke of the piece of track at Martinsville is not even worth commenting on. It sucked, and I'd be mad if it was my driver, but crap happens. Sometimes cars hit birds, pick up hot dog wrappers, tear offs, but that is just unavoidable. Using your car as a weapon is not unavoidable.

Agreed. As I said during the Live Chat, those cars were all over the place. I don't blame Tony and I don't blame Montoya ... there, I said it. It was a wacky race. Drivers know that if they check up at a restrictor-plate race, they're going to get run into. Nature of the beast.

We can argue who's fault it was, but in the end, I agree that it was Tony's comments that are the real issue here.

Re: Stewart bashes Hamlin!

I didn't catch all the live chat!! I really should move the computer to where to TV is!

Some of the crazy stuff Tony says has a ring of truth to it, but not this time! I just think he is who he is, and we are gonna have to live with the childish comments now and then. It's a bigger issue for Joe Gibbs than it is for me!

And Dennys fans! That is the real victim out of all this.

A, he ends up wrecked.

B, someone who is supposed to have his back had a hand in it,

C, someone who is supposed to conduct themselves as a champion rips him, who is still sort of new to the big time. I'm sure he wonders how that effects how he is viewed in the public eye.

Hopefully he knows most of us don't blame him for what happneed.

Not unavoidable, but entertaining, I'd love to see the sabotaging thing that would be awsome to see Stewart on the pace laps and the spoiler falls off, then the hood...so on and so forth....
