Clean up cheating in NASCAR.

The easy, quick and best way. This is for all of motor sports.Any team caught cheating not only does the car, team, driver and sponser go home but every single aspect of that orginization.Everybody goes.1 TO 5 car teams. That would make it to risky for anyone no matter how big.

Re: Clean up cheating in NASCAR.

I agree that drivers and the whole team caught should go home. But do you mean every team in that organization? I don't think that should happen. But I do everybody involved with the team caught should go. If they send a driver home and bring the sponsor down on the owner it'll stop alot of it.

Could you imagine a race without those three? They'd have to give away tickets to fill up the place!

I mean everyone, even the owner.Send the owner and sponser or sponsers home for everyone in your company then you will not be there long or if at all.End of cheating, period.

Re: Clean up cheating in NASCAR.

I don't think the teams in an organization should be sent home just cause their team mates were caught cheating.
Also, I am a fan of a couple of drivers. But I don't just watch a race to see them. If they're not in, there's still a race and thats what I want to see. And I believe they could have a race without some of the top drivers in it. I mean if they get caught cheating and get sent home, the race will continue.

Re: Clean up cheating in NASCAR.

Not sure if this is what you're advocating or not, but there's no way Johnson and his crew should be sent home because Gordon's guys are caught cheating. That's like punishing a college's football team because of infractions caused by the basketball team - sure, they're under the same umbrella ultimate, but their activities are so seperate that it'd be totally unfair to dish out universal penalties like that.

Re: Clean up cheating in NASCAR.

Nascar forum, nascar races are what I speak of as well as other motor sports. It sure may fix this top 35 crap also.Send a 3,4 or 5 car company home and who gets to qual and race, the small guys.

This is the perfect formula to end Nascar! So if Gordon gets caught cheating, you send Johnson, Mears, Busch, Martin, Marlin, Nemechek, Ginn, Hendrick and Junior (future HMS member) home! Who needs sponsors anyways!

Personally, I like the old say'n, if your not cheat'n your not try'n, I love it!

Re: Clean up cheating in NASCAR.

You can only own 5 now soon to be 4 teams. If you sell equip. to other companys and they cheat then they only go home not you and your's.When it leaves you how do you know what the other teams do except motors which are sealed from the builders.Seals broke, motor found wrong' you and your's go home, not the builders of said motor.Cars are the realm of the team or company fielding them.

That really is where a race fan and a driver(s) fan differ. I'd love to see a race without Tony, Kurt, Kasey or whoever. The excitement that it would bring in respect to all the other drivers would be phenomenal. I'm still a firm believer that if these penalties were to be invoked the sponsors would have Knaus fired long ago.

It sure would be a good test to see what percentage of the NASCAR faithful are driver fans and what percentage are race fans. I have a good idea which way the numbers would favor, sadly, but it would be interesting to know how it actually shakes down.

I think the answer is to look at the stands when there's a close race for the lead and those contending are "nobody" and "whosthat". the majority of the fans at the race will be pulling for one or the other, not looking back into the pack to see Jr. racing Gordon for 14th.

Nascar is a product of those Drivers, without those talented drivers, Nascar would still be a radio program only heard in the south, thank goodness for Gordon, Evernham, and HMS for evolutionising the sport!

Not sure where you get that idea. NASCAR was televised and popular long before the HMS gang came along.

Challenge you to show FACTS to the contrary. I'm 100% behind opinions but you gotta state that it is just that.
