Just like Tiger missing the cut.... if NA$CAR was full of pure race fans alone and some of race fans who follow a favorite driver, then I would say yes.... problem is NA$CAR is loaded with to many fad fans now.
yes, but heaven help the poor driver who qualifies well enough to bump him... the "beer can brigade" has a long memory.... well, sorta long .. with a few gaps .. but long enough!

I wasn't pleased with them takin away the race back to the line. I wasn't watchin for wrecks.... With the way some races have ended under caution this year, why not let them race back to the yellow. It would make things interesting if say rain is comin or it's the last 3 laps of the race. It would actually be goin for a win, and not gettin lucky cause you were out front when the yellow flew. IMHO

Alright, I'll concede that one. I've seen it.

if I was anywhere near the front and rain was imminent, I'd be petal to the floor trying to get in front. yeah, I know it's risky, but that pesky JG guy seems to always do the same and has been somewhat successful at leading on the "money" lap. if you have to wait for the yellow to begin racing, you've already lost.

Re: Nascar May Change Top-35 Rules

Freezing the field was awsome, I hated to see the caution come out and the leader slow down and let 5 or 6 drivers back on the lead lap, and didn't someone get passed for the lead because they were doing that?

So, to those who hate the "lucky Dogg" rule its a biproduct of the Freezing rule, I'd rather see that than 6 guys getting their lap back, plus its always fun to watch two guys a lap down fighting to remain the first man a lap down!

I agree. But I do think they should limit how many times one driver can get the lucky dog.

I have no problem with freezing the field, just do away with the lucky dog all together. Get your lap back the old fashion way .... EARN IT !!!!

Face it, the lap wasn't taken away ... the driver lost the lap. If he is that bad or if problems arise then so be it. Run your heart out and earn the lap back.

It tough to argue with logic, ain't it?

But then, if NA$CAR can't manipulate the number of cars on the lead lap, what can they manipulate?

I can disprove that right now.... I know why my driver isn't winning.... cause he went to a team that has crappy equipment and unfortunately( and I hate admitting this) his age is showing

That is a sad thing to have to admit. I was a Richard Petty fan till the day he retired. I was at Atlanta that day and I actually cried.

I will have to give it to Dale he has been doing a great job on TV.

The commercials are great too. I like the one where Ned pretends to be Dale.
I was talking about comentating in the Busch races. I really liked it the race they brought back Ned.

I knew that, but I think the commercials are great. I like the one about the crew guy who predicts what is gonna happen during one of the races and also tells him that he'll get another cup of coffee ... and then Dale spills it.
