I love this, here are a few examples, 1975 Richmond race Petty finishes first, in second lennie pond
6 Laps Down! the guy in tenth 56 laps down!
Same thing a few races later he wins second place is six laps down!
Im just gonna follow this year only, He wins atlanta and only Baker is on the lead lap with him!
Wilksboro second place three laps down...and its the same thing over and over....to top it off in 1975 6 guys won 28 out of 30 races....where was his compitition who did these guys have to compete against, when you dont have to race anybody to win is that really racing, i mean imagine watching tonights race and Gordon is 6 laps ahead of second, and second is three laps ahead of third....who are they racing at that point, why should Petty get so much credit! He wasn't racing anyone, he just hit the cruise control and won the races!
