Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani will serve as an honorary race official for Saturday's Pepsi 400, according to Daytona International Speedway officials. Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, will ride in an official vehicle and lead the 43-car field at the start of the NASCAR Nextel Cup race.

Well, since they've got a Republican out there, it won't be long before somebody is demanding equal time for the Democrats and Independants. Man, I really hate to see politician's having any involvement at all. Just one more thing to tick people off.
