Need Help.. First Time to Pepsi 400

I am a new Nascar fan... I am going to the pepsi 400 for the first time. I have seen tickets for FanZone and tickets to the Hospitality Village. Can someone tell me what the difference is and is the Hospitality Village worth the $$$

Thanks

I have never went to Daytona with tickets. I always buy them when I get there. There is always someone who has some for sale. the last time I went I had a phone # for a sclaper whom I had bought tickets from the last time I was there. He brought the tickets to our hotel for $25 over ticket price and we needed 3. That was Feburary too.

Thanks...but I have tickets for the race... right now I am looking for tickets to to the pre-race stuff and I see FanZone tickets and tickets to the Hospitality Village (which includes access to the FanZone)... I am just not sure exactly what you get with the Hospitality Village tickets...

I was hoping someone here could tell me.

Check out this site. It tells about all Daytona's hospitality packages.

Re: Need Help.. First Time to Pepsi 400

Thanks everyone for the info... I am still a little in the dark though.. I am seeing someone selling tickets to the Hospitality Village. I see that the speedway has several "packages" hospitality... I am just not sure what these tickets are for..... I assum though that once you get in, it includes access to all fanzone stuff as well as food, drink etc...

Re: Need Help.. First Time to Pepsi 400

I lifted this from the FanZone webpage:
The next best thing to a garage pass! Not only will you be able to get closer than ever before with your NEXTEL FANZONE ticket, the Pre-Race Pass also allows fans to walk across the track surface, over the grassy Tri-Oval area and onto Pit Road until the end of driver's introductions. Step into the most fan-friendly, hands-on experience in motorsports with the NEXTEL FANZONE¿. With your unprecedented access, check out a wide variety of racing merchandise, look inside the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series' garages and inspection bays and pay tribute to Daytona's greatest racers in the Goodyear Legends of Daytona.

*A gate admission ticket is required to access NEXTEL FANZONE.

**No Age Restriction, No Dress Code, Pre-Race pass with access to NEXTEL FANZONE does not allow access to garage area and participation in pre-race show. Following driver introductions guests will be cleared of pre-race area and permitted to enjoy activities from the NEXTEL FANZONE area. Garage viewing may be limited due to impound regulations for the Pepsi 400.

FanZone is a special area, or group of areas, that permit an "up close and personal" view of NASCAR and is only available at Daytona (at the moment.) As it says, after driver introductions, some areas of FanZone will be cleared for safety reasons. Also, the Pepsi 400 is an impound race, so the areas where the cars are impounded will not be open before the race.

Hope this helps.
