Here comes the Samsung/RadioShack 500 race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Let's hear your thoughts about how the race will play out. What do you remember about previous races? Anybody been to a race here in person?

Samsung/RadioShack 500 Winner: Dale Jr takes the flag!
Runner Up: JJ finishes with a flourish despite Chad Knaus being sick at home. Maybe the 48 team really is better without him

Was there for the first race, DW and the whole bunch piled up in turns 1&2, J Burton was the winner (rainy weekend). It was a bear getting in and out of the track that year, I know they have improved the roadways around the track.The track itself much faster now!! For this years race I will go with Mr. Hard luck so far this year Greg Biffle 1st and a Rousch teammate Matt Kenseth 2nd

I remember that race! Didn't Burton wreck or get a flat while leading, then they threw the red flag for rain, and stopped the race? I remember it was an amazing win for him as he was praying the rain would keep coming.

As far as picks, it is tough not to go with a Roush car as they are strong on the mile and a half tracks. But, I'm going to stick my neck out and say Tony is going to double up and win again. That team is really really running strong.

It will be great when the Petty Teams drive into victory lane, wherever it be, Texas would be good for Bobby, being his home state. But I'm going to pick Elliott Sadler and Dale Jarrett!

Sadler maybe ... DJ has been good this year .. not great .. but not bad either. he'll be in the end part of the top 10 to 15th place by race 26.
