Re: Rockwell Automation I liked how the article said Gibbs told them that if they thought Denny could get in the car and win put him in it, but if they didn't think he could win it just let Aric run it.

Re: Rockwell Automation Thats what I was wondering. Crew chief said he didn't want to, Denny said he didn't want to. So if those two didn't want to do it , and Gibbs left it up to the team, who made the decision to do?

Re: Rockwell Automation Nascar now said that Denny said he got a phone call from the sponsor that said they wanted him in the car. Go f#$% yourself Rockwell. I don't know anything about your company but I definetly don't want to know anything now. edit: I just went to their website and sent them an email. I know this sport has gone to the sponsors but I was in denial for a while. Now that something like this goes down and it really chaps my arse. I hope Aric wins next time he drives the 20 and spits all over the Rockwell name.

Re: Rockwell Automation It was the catch can guy. He alone persuaded the entire team and the sponsors to get Denny in the car. Actually it was the catch can guys 3 year old son but the catch can guy is taking the responsibility.

sponsors are funny, if you look like a loose cannon who'll disparage them because you don't like the way something went down that the sponsor was connected with, they'll shy away from you and will actually pull out of a deal if it includes you. like it or not, the golden rule still applies: "the one with the gold makes the rules!" if he wants to continue his career in NASCAR he needs to blow this off and get back to racing. letting the bad taste from one race poison a promising career is suicide. |
