| Re: Montoya Fans: Cat got your tongue? Well they may lose points yet and close up the gap plus JJ may lose Knaus. That would be a blessing to the crew chiefs that don't cheat .... as much as Chad !!! |

| Re: Montoya Fans: Cat got your tongue? I'm not a JPM fan either. but I have to congratulate him on his win. as far as I know he didn't wreck anyone and drove a clean race (by NA$CAR standards) I would like to find out what happened to Robby. after his last pit stop, he just slowed down... exactly the wrong strategy!!! BTW, in his post race interview JPM said he had driven at Infineon before - about 15 years ago (think it was for a driving school.)

Although I still can't classify that as his best road course race, The Watkins Glen race in 96 after the wreck and broken bones in Talladega was ballsy to say the least. |

Well as far as I'm concerned John Paul may or may not be the best driver around, but he got the job done today, with a Dodge, so thats a plus. I do wonder about the car, since his teammates finished 32nd and 40th. But we'll find out later after post race inspection. Hope nothing is wrong with it. |

| Re: Montoya Fans: Cat got your tongue? LOL! Talk about posting and ending up with egg on your face. That initial post is absolutely 100% dead wrong. Couldn't have predicted it any worse than you did..... nice going. Since I am a Montoya fan let me congratulate you on such a terrible post. As for the race. Robby Gordon had the winning car, no question. I hate it for him, since he is an owner driver I was pulling for him to beat the corporate, multicar teams. The race played into Montoya's hands, he saved fuel and on a road course (as seen in the past) strategy is key. Ganassi knows how to win road course races. |

| Re: Montoya Fans: Cat got your tongue? I like Montoya but have been pretty critical of him lately. So I guess I'm eating some of that mighty tasty crow, too. I was impressed with his performance. I think he only spun one car in the middle of quite a traffic jam and that incident didn't look very intentional. He didn't go overboad when he was racing Johnson, either. A little bumpin' and bangin' but that was it. I say good for him. If he can keep that temper in check, he will become a major force to be reckoned with. I wonder what and when will be his first "oval" win?
