Where have the debris cautions gone?

Maybe it's just my imagination but it sure seems as though the debris cautions, especially the "phantom" cautions, have decreased drastically since Tony made his accusation? Has anyone else noticed this?

We sure could've used one yesterday.

Re: Where have the debris cautions gone?

Not your imagination. They have dropped alot.I've noticed they're not having as many. Now it seems they have about as many in 2 races as they use to have in 1 race. Maybe thats why they got so mad at Tony, cause he was telling the truth about it.

No doubt about it Bob. Plus, when their is a caution, the cameras are trying their darnest to find the culprit. I think Tony got their attention.

Yep, Tony got it right. They made him suffer for it a bit, but he was right. Not a big surprise though, I think we all knew it!

Re: Where have the debris cautions gone?

Yep, we all knew they were calling cautions for debris that wasn't there. But maybe Nascar thinks we dumb and we wouldn't notice they were doing that.

Re: Where have the debris cautions gone?

I was about to completely disagree with you because I cannot allow myself to believe that NASCAR would let itself become the WWF.

Then I got thinking about the tires shredding apart at Pocono and how two cautions should have been called late in the race (before the rain) and they did not throw the caution.

I know that the lack of cautions during the race has zero effect on the amount of commercials that they have during the race, so the network cannot be to blame.

I am going to .... blame Jeff Gordon <hurls a Budwieser at the #24>

I have to thank ol' Stewart... I have been bi$#!ing, blasting, and complaining about those damn phantom debris cautions for 3 years, finally ol' Tony spouts off at the mouth and they magically stop.

Hard to believe that Tony could do something positive.

Now there is a classic example of an oxymoron. Tony being himself and positive ???? I don't think it can be done !!!

Re: Where have the debris cautions gone?

If some of these other drivers would take their skirts off and speak up Tony wouldn't always have to be the one in the headlines.

No arguement, but as true as it might be it is also true that you must practice what you preach.
