Re: What races are you going to see this year?

Unforunately, we will not be making any races this year! Although there is a possiblity open to go to Dover - Saturday, just for the atmosphere and to walk around the trailers, etc.. Bevo311evolver- first time to Pocono, that track is quite a feat to "maneuver" about on race day! There's ONE way in and OUT, and it's the SAME way! SCARY! But it's still a race to be at (lucky you)- I was there once for a race. As bad as Dover can be (getting around) I'd rather go there, at least it's not only a single lane road in and out.

Re: What races are you going to see this year?

Oh oh oh .. i meant the first of the two pocono races! heh! ive been going to pocono since 1993. LOVE the track, and there isnt just 1 road out .. only 1 road people truely know about =]. if you go out the gate towards the trailers (not near the ticket office and stuff) .. and make a left, you can take a back road to 81. not many ppl do it, so its fast! but, if no one i want to win isnt in the top 3 with like 15 togo, ill jet .. unless its a close race.. all it takes is those 15 laps and you hit NO traffic .. and 115 is bad about 15 minutes after the race is over.

as for dover, ive only ever gone on bus trips .. and buses dont sit in traffic there .. they have their own route. =]

Last year we went to spring Talladega and fall Atlanta races.

This year we went to Daytona 500 and are going to Talladega (luv that place ) later this month.

Charlotte and Pocono are on my list to hit....maybe next year.

Re: What races are you going to see this year?

That's totally awesome drnascar48! What is your position at Richmond, do you have work all year? How long have you been employed there? There's several tracks that we want to go to, eventually we will get to Richmond, our one friend has been there and said how great it was, we were suppose to go last year but I was sick, and that made me even more sick, since we couldn't go!

Be at the Dover June race Thur-Mon, the July Pocono race Thur-Mon, Watkins in August(work Fri-Sat at track, play Sunday). Stop by the camps anytime Dover Lot#2, Pocono site#70 outside turn 3 trackside (last site on burm, quite a group there can't miss us, just look for the washerboards).

Re: What races are you going to see this year?

I have a house to rent in Long Pond for the June race. I am not sure how to go about putting it out there. It is sort of last minute. The family who usually rents it had an emergency and have cancelled. Any suggestions./ Our home is beautiful and certainly very convenient.
