Hendrick helped Dale's sister

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kelley Earnhardt Elledge said they've both turned to Rick Hendrick for advice many times, especially since their father's death. But business wasn't on Elledge's mind this March when she had surgery after a cancer scare. "I called on Rick to help me find a doctor and he was just incredible," Elledge said. "The day of my surgery, he set up a private room for my family to be in and he came by the hospital to visit and make sure they were taking care of us. He took time out for me, and I shouldn't have been very high on his list. He's just that kind of person."

I'm always amazed at the hate some folks have for Hendrick. He has always seemed to me to be a great person, and other drivers and media certailnly have that same idea.
