Yet another reason why he shouldn't be there. If he isn't running for points and isn't a Busch regular then the only thing he is doing is keeping a Busch regular off the track which means he is getting no experience that TONY says they need to run with the cup boys.

I do not disagree with that. I have always said they didn't need to be there. Other posters on forums have argued that that made the competitors stronger. I don't agree with that either. If you can't make the race you can't get experience.

isn't it amazing how Tony placed ALL the blame on David when it was TONY who RAN INTO DAVID?

why was tony not preparing to go around david .. his spotter should have told him Gilliland had been out a long time .. tony should have been able to see his closing speed on Gilliland was more than normal -- but "KING TONY" believes everyone else on the track has to watch out for him, not the other way around.

Yea, isn't it amazing how Stewart thinks everybody out there is stupid but him and everybody is just suppose to move over and let him by. Funny thing is, for somebody that's a 2 time champion and in his mind apparently the only smart driver out there seems to get himself into these incidents?

I also blame the cup drivers some too though. If they would stop taking up over half of the field in the Busch races these guys might get alittle more experience. Tony said thats why they have those series. Well, he and alot of others have put their time in there, so they need to let others now.
But above all I blame the owners. Almost all of em have Busch teams. Why not let that driver drive there for a couple of years and then bring them to Cup.
It's really tough to argue with logical deduction, isn't it?

ugh, As much as i hate to say this. For once, for once, I'm agreeing with tony. He brought up some good points and it was indeed gilliland's fault. imo

True, gilliland should of signled that he was going in. but the key here is tony could of avoided it! he also could of avoided his wreck with hamlin. he could of easily let off and let denny get back into the throttle. but no tony cant check up early in a race for his own teamate. and the practice accident could of been avoided if tony would of been heads up and go around him or slowed down.

Re: Is Tony Stewart Right?

The best part of Tony's interview after the wreck was when he said denny didn't understand "team". Actually, I don't think Tony does. haha
