yesterday at qualify for the cup series race at Michigan Kyle Busch will seen have long converstertions with Robert Yates on multiple occasions Yates has experced interst in Busch if Busch would sign with Yates the possiblitlys would be 1.Ricky rudd would retire or 2.David Gilliand would get let lose 0r 3.Yates expans there lineup to 3 drivers nothings been relased but wat do you make of this NASCAR Fans and if this goes down how happy will you be Team Yates

I have mixed feelings on this. I`d hate to see either driver loose their ride, but if things do not improve at Yates, they will have to shake things up. I think Kyle Busch is a total DORK! But he will drive the wheels off of any car they give him. They will still have alot of crashed cars. But they will have a few good finishes if not a win.

2 Bush brothers on one team.....that sounds scary. But there could be a good marketing angle here!?

Ryr Needs Kyle Right Now. He Is A Winner, Hard Charger And Can Be The Leader Of This Organization For Years To Come. He Reminds Me Of Davey A Little With His Driving Style. I Hope They Get Him. He Would Look Good In A Ford. Especially One With The "28" On It!

IF RYR SIGNS KYLE THEY SHOULD GIVE HIM THE 38 AND CHANGE IT BACK TO THE 28. THEY NEED TO LET RICKY GO ALSO AND LOOK AT PUTTING ANOTHER DRIVER IN THE 88 TO. RYR NEEDS SOME FIRE RIGHT NOW AND THEY DRIVERS THEY HAVE NOW ARE SIMPLY NOT CUTTING IT. WHY NOT GO AFTER KURT OR MAYBE EVEN BIFFLE?

They could let Gilliland go back to Busch for another year. But I really don't think RYR would be a good place for Kyle. I think he has to much attitude for them. They usually have pretty mild tempered drivers there.

I thin if Robert Yates had given any consideration of sending Gilliland to Busch he would have done it before now. I don't see Kyle as a good fit at RYR ... then again I don't see him as a good fit anywhere. Maybe he could be in that Christmas cartoon that includes the land of the misfits.

RYR needs something, I'm not so sure that Kyle B is the answer!! I would have less opposition to Kurt B., even though I'm not thrilled about that thought, but it sure beats the thought of Kyle B.. Mike28, Davey was my driver as well, got your pm's, sorry I haven't replied, been rather busy this past week. Kyle reminds you of Davey somewhat, I'm not sure that I've seen that, but I will look a little harder to see if I see what you do.

As far as the 28 number, there was agreement made between Yates and Texaco that he wouldn't use the 28 number for so many years. How many years, I'm not sure of at this moment, will check into it.

RYR NEEDS TO QUIT PICKING THESE LAID BACK DRIVERS. THEY NEED SOME DRIVERS WHO ARE FIREY. THEY NEED SOMEONE WHO IS GONNA KEEP DOUG AND ROBERT ON THERE TOES. KYLE DOES NEED TO GROW UP, BUT IF HE GOES TO RYR, HE WOULD BE THE #1 DRIVER AND THE FACE OF THE ORGANIZATION, WHICH WOULD CAUSE HIM TO HAVE TO GROW UP. HE REMINDS ME OF DAVEY IN THE HARD CHARGING, DRIVING THE WHEELS OFF THE CAR. DAVEY PUT UP WITH NOTHING FROM NO ONE, AS KYLE IS LIKE THAT. THE DEAL ABOUT THE 28 IS THEY COULD NOT USE IT FOR 5 YEARS, THAT IS WHY RICKY COULD NOT GET IT THIS YEAR. RYR SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE IT AFTER THIS SEASON. I JUST HOPE WHENEVER THEY USE IT, THEY DONT GIVE IT TO DAVID OR RICKY.

Not sure how well you knew the driving style of Davey Allison, but he and Kyle , from my point of view, are two totally different people.

RYR would improve dramaticaly if they were to sign kyle. Adding kyle to the stable would be the best thing for RYR if they want to start contending for wins and good finishes. It would be a pretty big headach for robert though

I think RYR still has some issues with their equipment. They need to get more engineers in the shop to get things goin again.

Yeah DJ even said they only had like 6 engineers for 2 cup teams and 1 busch team. You can't compete against Hendrick and the rest with that limited a force in the shop.

Very true, not enough engineers on that race team to contend with a powerhouse race team like Hendrick
