In case you didn't notice, there were no provisionals this week, at Michigan. The fastest 43 cars are starting the race. I hope this starts a trend.

It still mystifies me why a driver who has gone beyond his peak, is retired and more than likely not physically ready to race ... jumps back in the seat. Seldom do they do very well, unless embarrassing yourself is the goal.

I kind of doubt it unless the car is total junk, Terry is very good on road courses.

it seems that now MWR has keneddy back he has improved a bit, many times this year he was fast ,but the top 35 kept him out.

I think Terry has been doing some testing.

saw where he tested the Montreal track for NASCAR .. told them it would do just fine...

his performance last year when he got the 3rd (I think it was 3rd, but could be wrong) on road course was rediculous. he drove so slow he was in danger of getting black flagged, but 'cause he got better fuel mileage running that slow he was able to make fewer pit stops. that's not racing, it's cruising... the provisional may get him in, but don't expect much except a smaller fuel bill...

not quite .. but close.

seems DJ ran slightly faster than Tony (183.104 vs 183.006), but Tony is "chosen". As is Jeff Green (182.969)
