I don't have a problem with Gordon haters, but the problem with Gordon haters is they try to say "I hate Gordon because he whines". No, Gordon haters hate Gordon because of something different. Thats why I get upset with Gordon haters, they can't admit the truth on why they actually hate him. Gordon fans know exactly why Gordon haters hate Gordon.

My biggest problem with Gordon is the fact he gets nearly 100% of the credit for those 3 Championships and 8-12 wins a year when he was with Evernham. In those years, Ray put him in a car ANYONE could win in. Because of that, Jeffy has become a hero to some. The guy totally relies on a dominant car to win. He is by no means a GREAT driver. Dale Earnhardt was a guy that could take an evil handling car, and get it to the front, that is greatness. Speaking of whining, NOBODY whines any more than Gordo about needing clean air than he does. EVERYONE has the same problem with that, but it seems you are always hearing about the 24 complaining about it way more than everyone else.

I'm tired of typing and ready for bed. You can do a search on this forum and find a bazillion reasons why people dont like him. Its been hashed out over and over, or you can just click on this link

How about crashing twice, having no rear bumper, going one lap down and still finish 2nd at Charlotte in 2004. Or going 3 laps down at Martinsville to win. Or Las Vegas a couple years ago, horrible car in the biginning to win. NO ONE can win with a horrible handling car now a days. Name me a driver that can???? Besides do you listen to his in-car every race to see how his car is handling??? Jeffs car SUCKED at the Sharpie 500 there with 100 laps to go but he salvaged a 5th place.

I hate him because because he can't shoulder blame but is more than willing to place it. Simple as that. Besides, how would you know if that was the truth or not unless you were a mind-reader?

I'm not one of Jeff's biggest fans and I don't dislike him as much as I dislike some others. To hate him because he whines is a personal reason why anyone would dislike him. When I get irritated with drivers I like to "TRY" to have a concrete reason why. Because his eyebrows are to big is (for me) not a valid reason. When a driver is doing a terrible job at what they are paid for then there are some valid reasons to dislike someone. Show me a driver out there that accepts the blame for an incident 100% of the time. You cannot find that driver. I dislike the ones that cause/create accidents on a regular basis, but when confronted about it the excuses come flowing like it was 10 people talking.

Being a sports fan is not an easy job. It is often difficult to stand by your sports figure when they are in error but it is way to easy to make up reasons why we hate them.

Thankfully we are all allowed opinions and if we hate Jeff because he has no upper lip, then in our minds that is a valid reason to hate him. The place we need to be careful is when we allow our feelings to get in an uproar because not everyone sees it the same way we do.

I have a difference of opinions about victories VS consistency but lets get real ... I have no control over NASCAR and I need to respect the differing opinion without getting upset.

Now everyone calm down and get ready for the chase ... even though I dislike it !!!!!

Some of the poorest excuses ever to hate someone for. The problem with the world today is no one respects no one. I am not a fan of Jr, but Im not bashing him. Im not a fan of Kesneth, but Im not bashing him. I don't take low shots by disrespecting drivers for going out there and performing on the track.

Nevadastars explains my point perfectly. He is trying to take down Gordon and Johnson and blaming the Lucky Dog rule for it. Explaining how Gordon haters try to take his stats away, when they obviously can't and I don't know why they try in the first place. No, it wasn't because of the Lucky Dog that Gordon won that race, it was because he had a great car to win that race.

He can't shoulder blame? How is that when he admitted wrecking Kesneth at Chicago and apoligized, but Kesneth whined like a baby because he got payback handed to him? I guess Kesneth can be included in the whining club while we are talking about it. Gordon admits his wrecks he causes, and when he says he didn't cause them, he didn't cause them. You are not Jeff Gordon driving in the car, so you don't know what exactly he is doing, but its just another false reason for Gordon haters to hate him since they can't tell the real reason why for some odd reason.
