It just seemed funny that when Ryan reached him and was about to finish the pass that Nascar through the caution. I dont know the difference between 1 minute before that when no one was around him. Also the conspiracy theory goes further when his teamate had a flat and they through no caution for that. So they wanted Gordo to win.

I don't know why you should hate someone cause they win. They all knew the rain was coming. He just happened to be the one in front when it got there, could've been any of em cause they were almost all playing that game. I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of Gordon's and never will be, but you can't hate him for having a thinking crew chief.

You're right on one thing. I think they threw the caution at the wrong time. They should've thrown it earlier, with as bad as that rain was getting. But guess what? Gordon still would've won. I understand that some drivers aren't too fond of Jeff Gordon, but please, a little common sense? There was no way they could keep going in that downpour. They made the right call.

This post sums it up perfectly. Letarde gambled and it paid off.

If the rain would've held off 10 more laps, it would've backfired. So credit Gordon's crew chief for taking a calculated risk.

Yep, when people see the same person catching all the breaks and winning without the fastest car, it gets old real fast. Most of us want to see a real race without gas mileage, rain, or unbelievable luck being a major factor in the outcome. It takes away from the competition aspect of it.

i for one do like the gas mileage part of it i think it adds drama ..... i love it when people go for it and some run out and some make it

personally in a 36 race season i would love to see at least 20 different winners

A different winner every week is about the worst thing you could do to anything. Who wants to see the Jeff Gordon guy be as good as mr. I can barely keep up with the next to last car.
