I can't say I'm surprised, they are a good team. He has a good strong team backing him, once they get their COT problems worked out they will be in good shape.

The season's not over yet. Personally, I don't believe him. I think this was just something his controller told him to say, just to take some of the heat off the negotiations between he and Roush.

STALLED TALKS: Greg Biffle hit a snag over a new contract with team owner Jack Roush, and has put negotiations on hold. Biffle, who is 18th in the overall points standings, qualified a disappointing 41st for Sunday's Pocono 500.
"Yeah, I mean I want to stay," Biffle said Saturday. "I don't think it's a distraction. I just need to work on this and get it better before I decide what I want to do in the future."
Biffle hasn't won a race in nearly four years and has only three top 10s this season. When asked about negotiations, Roush said, "I don't have anything to say about that," and kept on walking.


This was Saturday. Wonder what happened over night that he went from putting it on hold to announcing he's staying. I had thought it was Sunday that he said they were still working on it but had no decision, guess it was Saturday.
