Hello? If your impression is that Tony's pit member jumped out of the way at the last minute it's only because Kurt's actions weren't expected. As the commentators said, the pits are "sacred ground". I'll leave it at that before I get in trouble ...

| Re: Kurt Busch's Punishment Should Be ? Back to the penalty ... A $100,000 fine is nothing to these guys. Many commentators have said that in addition to the fines and points, Kurt should have been suspended for at least one race. That'll get him where it hurts. Let him sit home on Sunday and watch someone else drive his car! I don't understand the owner points reduction. Penske? Yet again, there are many things about NASCAR that I don't fully understand ... |

Yea they should of parked him for atleast a race, watch another guy race his car (which has to be the crappiest feeling to a racer) and think about wat he did. And like u said money aint nothing to these guys |

Was it also during Kyle's comments in the booth that someone brought up the question of what the fine(s) might have been if a member of Tony's crew actually got hurt? I know I heard that question somewhere ... I'd go one step further and just hit him with a huge points deduction with no $ fine. Take the 100 loss in points, and add another 100 for the fine, and another 100 for the owner fine. 300 points! At the end of the season, that'll bite him in the @ss. How many points did Jr. lose last year for using a four-letter-word in Victory Lane? Or Mikey for his so-called cheating? Oh, well. I guess it's all water under the bridge now. |
