| Scanner Frequencies - Dover - June 2007 For fellow "scanner heads". Following drivers (Car numbers) found today on the primary frequencies (CH1) listed for them on Jayski's. 01, 07, 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, 29, 31, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45, 48, 55, 66, 83, 84, 88, 99 Not the most exciting race. Cars/drivers seemed to fall quickly in to their approppriate performance based position and then ride there for extended periods. Truex pretty much had them covered and it was clear relatively early on. Seemed the only question was whether he could work his way to the front without incident. Funniest on the scanner was the MRN folks. When listening to them at the track (454.00), you hear the banter/discussion that goes on between the folks working the race while the commercials are being playing on regular broadcast radio. The National Anthem was "enhanced" today by a barrage of aerial bombs. Apparently this occured just in front of their broadcast position and they were unaware of the planned "enhancement". "Holy crap!", "Geez oh!", "Man somebody's got to warn us about this!", "Better delay going back to hot mikes, ya got some people here that have to go change their pants!". From someone apparently on the other side of the track - "Yeah they were a bit loud." "A BIT LOUD!?, try 'em from over here - MAN!!" |
