Anyone Follow IROC?

I know this is the NASCAR Forum, but I'm just curious if any of you follow IROC. I used to love those races, dominated by Big E and Mark Martin, but don't seem to be able to find them over the past few years.

Great races! Equal cars and all about the drivers!

Re: Anyone Follow IROC?

ever wondered why the NASCAR guys always won?

my opinion is the open wheel guys had trouble adapting to fenders and the sporty guys couldn't handle the high banks & drafting.

I liked the IROC, but seems there should have been some other format like multiple types of cars, i.e., carts at one track, sprint/modifieds at another, camero/mustang at another, etc.. at least that way each of the driver types might have something more familiar to show their skills...

I also liked the IROC races, but it would have made for better races, with different cars, formats, etc.. I think that would have shown who is the TOP driver.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I liked IROC the way it was.

They messed with the All Star race this year, and it was one of the most boring races I've seen ... until the end, of course.

I just think it would be better if they took each series that was represented and had to race a car from that series.
And I do agree that they messed the all star race up this year. I only hope they change it back next year.
