| Tyler Walker Suspended Indefinitley Tyler Walker, a driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has been suspended from competition indefinitely by NASCAR, for violating the sanctioning body's substance abuse policy. On May 18, Walker was found to have violated Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 12-4-E (failure to comply with the NASCAR Substance Abuse Policy) of the series rule book. | Re: Tyler Walker Suspended Indefinitley I couldn't agree more. There is no excuse for that type of activity. I quess one good thing about nascar, is that roids won't help their performance in anyway. To bad they don't enforce these things in the NBA, NFL, and baseball. |

| Re: Tyler Walker Suspended Indefinitley There are a few qualities that seem to remain unique to NASCAR that seperate the organization and the sport from many of the other "highest level", mainstream sports. The at/near "zero tolerance" policy relative to substance abuse. The only sport that always has time for our national anthem prior to televised events. The only sport where prayer to the God of our national founding has not been censored, altered, or compromised. If/when any of the above begin to fade of go away, it will truly become NA$CAR to me. |
