With the night races behind us for a while we now travel north to Dover International Speedway in Dover DE.

This weeks race will be broadcast on FOX at 1 PM and we'll go live at 12:30 PM.

Last weeks race gave us some different results at the end. Will it happen again this week ??

As you can only imagine with Michael Waltrip in the race this week all of the predictions are in jeopardy. What do you think ???

Been looking at the wheather channel. The system is almost out of the way. Mike Joy just talked about NASCAR looking at the seam that Dover is in, which looks promising, but the band on the back edge is too close for my comfort. We'll see, the track's drying quick.

It doesn't look like there are lights at Dover. What is the latest do you think can start the race and hope to finish?

Ehhh... I don't know. Maybe we can start, but finish all 400 laps... Doesn't look promising.

Would Nascar start the race with the hopes of making it halfway to make it an official race, or if they don't think they can finish the 400 laps will they choose to wait until tomorrow

Well, I was hopeful, but now it's raining again and it really looks bad now. I don't think we'll be doing anything today. ugh.

One more update.

Nobody said anything yet, but I just saw an official running down pit road doing the old thumb across the throat gesture as if to say "kill it"

...ok it's now it's official just when I finished typing.

Everytime a race is run on Monday and I miss it at work, something spectacular happens.
