I don't understand why he's so upset. If it's not against nascar rules for them to buy their own tires and go to other tracks and test outside of nascar then what does he have a problem with. He could spend the money like the rest of them are and do the testing or quit complaining about them doing it. From what I understood it's not against the rules and any team can do it. Right?

I think it's a situation where someone took advantage of what isn't written, but Jack and his folk either didn't think of it or decided to follow what was written... in retrospect, he made the wrong decision and he's not happy about it.

I say too bad. We all make decisions that we wish we could change. Teams are always looking for ways to "push the envelope". He's just upset he didn't think of it first.

Could it be that Roush, like a number of us who obviously got it wrong, figuring that the NASCARmobile.v2 would fall flat on its face and they'd continue to run the current twisted-up car? Why throw money at something which would prove to be a lost cause?

Or maybe it was the tire-thing?

Either way, Roush/Fenway took their eye off the ball and now they are recovering from a fumble. Ca-ca occurs
