Re: So, What room did he remodel ??

Yea, Jr. had an incredible finish considering where he started, and how tore up his car was. I was bummed out that Kahne had engine trouble. He could have been leading in points if he would have continued on to a top 5 finish. It was a bad race for points leader Kenseth as well who smacked the wall near the end.
But, I had picked Stewart to win.......and he did.

Re: Martinsville Race

Great Job by the Dupont Warriors today, we were faster then Tony at the end but Matt Kanseth screwed us over there at the end again.

Re: Martinsville Race

How about team Hendricks. 2,3, and 5th. Gordon almost pulled it off. Tony ran a good race though. Of course oil dry didn't help Gordon any.

Re: Martinsville Race

Yeah - Hendrick not only had 3 in the top five, but all four were top 10. I'm impressed with Elliott Sadler's feat, too - according to reports, he managed to stay in the top 10 for the entire race.

Wonder about that caution for "debris" after Little Jeffie Gordon blew a tire. Anyone watch Wind Tunnel last nite with Robby Gordon and his comment regarding special treatment? Even the drivers feel that way.

Go Tony!!!

Yep, I watched Wind Tunnel, and Robbie is right. There is no doubt they threw a quick flag for Jeffy. Did they ever show the debri on camera? NO, because I doubt there was any.

Re: Martinsville Race

Special treatment ???? Now lets be real here. Jeff isn't the only one who gets special treatment. When they did nothing to Stewart for his on track antics at Daytona ... what do you call that? Obviously (as everyone knows) I'm no Stewart fan. I'm not Gordon fan either. I will agree that there is preferential treatment given to the "superstars" but show me a sport that it doesn't happen that way. In basketball it is always the rookie that the fouls are called on ... never the veteran players. NASCAR is just following suit. It was almost pitiful the way Tony talked at his post race inteview. He sounded like one of the nicest drivers in the series.

Well, you have myself, Nevadastars AND a racer who's actually out there on the track that have this opinion. I'm not saying it's just Jeff receiving special treatment, I'm saying that there are some of us who think that caution was not necessary.

Re: Martinsville Race

I was just listening to a show on the XM radio Nascar station and there were a couple of callers who also mentioned the quick flag. One guy was saying, near the end of the race, someone (I can't remember who) else got a flat, and had to limp to the pits with no flag. Either way, that was a very quick flag espescially since he didnt hit anything, and was up out of the groove. How many times have you seen guys with tire problems, trying like crazy to get down on the bottom so they can pit and a flag never comes out? Happens all the time, except for certain people. Naw, there's no favoritism in Nascar.

Oh, absolutely none. I know, if Mr. Robby Gordon (who by the way is one of my fav's) hints at favoritism I have to believe him. It's all the Hendrick bunch. Oops, maybe I should backspace over that last sentence. Look at the fine and no points taken away for the 48.
