| Re: Hendrick's stable too full for junior--now to build even just one on speculation seems rather chancey at best. but to biuld one would show the wanted driver commitment and drive. if it does work out, you have a car to try out for the other drivers to see if they like that style of chasis.

| Re: Hendrick's stable too full for junior--now Jr is better than Busch, he just needs the equipment to show that. I think Busch is a solid driver, but he has equipment that makes him great. Lets see him drive for another team, and we will see his talents. While Jr may have not so great equipment with DEI, he is still able to contend. That shows his talent. |

| Re: Hendrick's stable too full for junior--now It's going to be interesting to see just how good Jr. is when he does leave DEI. When Mikey came to DEI he improved tremendously over his past. Possibly DEI has been going downhill for a while. I'm a bit nervous that he may go to a top team and be no better than he is now. That will pretty much dismiss any chances for him in the future. As good as I think he is, he doesn't have a championship to fall back on for proof of his abilities. He does in fact have 17 victories so that will help. We'll see ... soon enough. |

| Re: Hendrick's stable too full for junior--now Maybe he did get alittle worried. I noticed he qualified the best of the Hendrick cars tonight. |

| Re: Hendrick's stable too full for junior--now I think it will be too full for junior even for the next year. I mean, Hendrick's got four of the best drivers all under one roof. I think it would be a silly idea to let go of any of them. I'm not worried about Jeff or Jimmie leaving, but I'm not too worried about Kyle or Casey. Casey proved tonight at the Coca Cola 600 that he can go the distance and win races. Kyle's a great driver, although I do have to agree that he's not exactly the best focused or the most patient of drivers. But he's got the talent. Give Casey the right equipment and give Kyle some time, and they'll present a force to be reckoned with. But back to my point, even if Junior has a chance at saddling himself with Hendrick, he's got to do some changing first. I think he's got to distance himself from Budweiser. I think I read that Hendrick would not associate with alcohol sponsers, but I'm not sure. And second, I just don't think he would fit in with the Hendrick crew. Granted, I don't know him that well, or any of the Hendrick drivers, but to me, he's just totally different from them. I don't think he would be happy at Hendrick, and who knows, if he were there, he'd probably demand for %51. |

Gibbs is the one that doesn't want the alcohol sponsor. But could you imagine the problems poor ole Hendrick would have if Jr went there. Him, Gordon and Johnson fighting over who's gonna be top dog. |

| Re: Hendrick's stable too full for junior--now They said last night that Casey Mears contract is up in 2008. They may talk nice about maturing & coming into their own, but we all know its more about what can you do for me right now. The sponsors don't want to spend their money on what might happen down the road, they want the bang for their bucks now. |
