Nothin' wrong with HMS pride. They've got it all figured out and above all that it was good to see Casey get his first win.

Patti is closing in on 50 and has had a few tough years after the death of their son. Stuff like that can age you faster.

yeah youre right .... i know what they have been through since losing my brother years ago to drowning

and actually i have changed my mind ..... it is refreshing to see him with someone he truly loves and not just arm candy

Well, not a bad race. It was alot like Indy was. So much stuff kept happening that you really couldn't pick out the contenders til the end. I'd still like to be on the phone with Hendrick killer Bud Moore right now.

I'm gonna catch Victory Lane, Wind Tunnel and hit the sack. Heading back to work Tomorrow night.

got that right i think labonte should have had a top ten if he didnt get screwed twice in the race tonight but it is what it is and labonte came away with an empresive 13th place finish and gongrats to petty for finishing 3rd.

Congrats to the first three place finishes!

I couldn't follow the race here at the forum, but man, awesome race. Those first two big crashes were just head turners. I think at the end of the race, half the cars were just wiped out.

I give a shoutout to Kyle Petty for a good finish, best he's had in a long time, JJ Yeley, Great run! And then a big shoutout to Casey Mears. He's driven in the shadow of his teammates for too long. He deserved that win, and to get it at the Coca Cola 600 was amazing.

Lots of good stories from tonights race. It was really good to see some new faces in the front and I guess everyone agrees that it was good to see Kyle so close to the front. Hopefully this is a turning point for Petty Ent. Just when he starts getting some good runs he'll go to the booth. Wish they would give Bobby some air time. He is making a great effort to help turn PE around.

I didn't get to catch the whole race, I was riding back from "Rolling Thunder" in Washington DC! I know he qualified 9th, but when I sat down to watch, he was already a lap down! What happened???????????

I'm happy Casey Mears finally got him a win. But man I was sooooooooo hoping that he and JJ Yeley would run out of gas. But a 3rd place is a great finish for Kyle Petty.
