Jr. What Will He Do? - My Crystal Ball Says.

Jr.’s steps for 2008 and beyond

Step 1 – Jr. joins Hendrick Motorsports, (Jr. said he wants to be a winner, so……….join the winner. Jr. fans going absolutely NUTS.

Step 2 - Come in second place in the championship cup race, (behind Gordo’s 6th title).

Step 3 – 2009 - Gordo retires – you know, family and all.

Step 4 - 2009 - Jr. comes in second place behind JJ in the race for the cup.

Step 5- 2010 - Jr. comes in second place behind Kyle Busch in race for the cup. Jr. fans still going NUTS.

Step 6 – 2011 – Jr. turns 39 and re-joins DEI.

The ball must be a bit cloudy. Jr only turns 37 in 2011 ???

And they say I'm nutz for predicting and laying a bet on the table that David Gilliland will win the cup within 2 years.

I think my crystal ball is cracked. God knows it's not on an even keel. Influenced by Squishy the Kat. Yeah, thats it. She tells me what to do. And of course I listen and obey. Now if only my doctor will believe me maybe I can go home.

That is the rumor, but nothing has been signed or set in stone. Childress said he would love to have him, but is giving Jr. time to weigh out his options and see exactly what he wants to do.

Re:Ratings and Revenue

Remember NA$CAR fans, it’s all about ratings and revenue.

I think a couple of weeks ago, T. Stewart let the cat out of the bag – It’s like the WWF or WWE or what ever the name goes by now days.

The characters:

Koo-koo-ka-choo Mrs. Robinson -Teresa Earnhardt the evil stepmother. “Mrs. Robinson, you’re trying to seduce me aren’t you?”

The good guy – Jr.: who desperately is seeking a NASCAR win.

The bad guy – Gordo, who if you are from the old school, hatred reigns.

The ugly – the rest of the pack; which by the way is a good supporting cast.

Scene 1 – Jr. signs with Hendricks Motorsports for $50M. Gordo and Jr. are the new tag team.

Scene 2 – RCR sells out to Hendricks and Gordo’s new number in 2008 is #3.
.
.
.
Scene 60 - With Gordo now in retirement, Jr. re-signs with DEI.

Remember: it’s $$$$$$$ ALL ABOUT THE RATINGS AND REVENUE $$$$$$$

Could be the smartest move yet. Childress aint no dummy. He knows talent and how to put it in a team. I would think it fitting for Jr. to run the number 3. But then some people would have way too high of expectations of greatness that he would have a hard time showing. Filling those shoes is an impossible feat. That would be setting himself up for failure.

thunderfoot - you have some very wise insight – Truth be known, Jr. is good, but in only in the sense of being in the middle of the pack good. Winning the Firecracker 400 was no fluke. Rating$ and Revenue, Ratings$ and Revenue.

Gordon in the 3? That's a big no no, and Gordon will not do that. Are you trying to stir up something?
