How would Hendricks be able to take on Jr. ? I thought Nascar put a limit of 4 teams as max or is it ok for them?
Another part of this is Roush, Why was he able to keep the 5th team after Martin left?

Yeah, but there has been talk of taking Mears out of the 25. I was watching Wind Tunnel, and I heard there is a possibility of Kyle Busch being taken out of the 5, and Hendrick putting Jr in that car if Jr does sign with HMS, but in my opinion that is the wrong move. I would put Jr in the 25, and keep Busch in the 5. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I agree Kyle is a good driver and I think he will turn into a great driver. Mears just got a shot because of Jimmy and is a below average driver.

If I remember right he was grandfathered in because he already had the 5 teams for so long. I also thought they said he could have those 5 for so many years and then had to go to 4 teams.

yea he has to give up the fifth team by 2010, but gordon and jr on the same team are you serious??? did you not see the cans fly jr fans hate the 24 and in the end he will remember that the fans are who make him do what he does.

I think the jr. gordon thing would be fine, I don't think jr. has an ego promblem, and he didn't ask to be an earnhadt, he is just playing the cards he has been dealt.
As long has he gets good eguimpment eqaul to the 24/48 he would he have a problem. he just wants to run up front and win.

I don't think we can rule Ginn out, either. In some ways, they practically are HMS, using many of their resourses. But I think Ginn may come into play in a different way. HMS will want Jr. for themselves. Send Mears to Ginn and make way for Jr. I don't think they'll part with the Shrub. He's a loose canon, but he does have talent of sorts. It sure will be interesting to see this play out. Jeez, Jr. Nation would blow a gasket if Jr. wound up with HMS!

Jr said he doesn't care if the fans want him to go here and there, he will do what he thinks is the right choice. And I'm glad that Jr is starting to get off of these fans bandwagons, and doing what he WANTS to do, instead of doing what the fans want him to do. The fans are a big part of Jr, but it's time for Jr to make the decision for himself, not the fans. And that's what Jr will do. I know alot of fans want him to go to RCR, but Jr will go where he thinks he will fit.

I wouldn't rule out ANY team or owner. According to Junior's press conference, his main objective is to win a championship. He made mention of his being 32 years old and inferred that "time was running out." It sounded like, in some ways, his biological clock's ticking is keeping him up nights.

The odds are it'll be a bow-tie but I believe that Junior will go to the team owner who makes him think he has the best opportunity at a championship in the shortest time. I wouldn't rule out Ford or Toyota IF they are able to give Junior what he wants. (After the news today, MOPAR may not even be an option for him after this season)

He did say he wants to stay with Chevy. Forgive my ignorance, so what team would that be? I don't follow manufacturers.

There are what, 22 chevy teams. All with the exception of Hendrick have an open slot ( not up to the limit yet). Ginn said he was gonna try using the under dog approach. And I wish he would go to a team where he can make a difference at.
