We're sufficiently into the new season though there is a looong way to go. Obviously some teams are out of the top ten now that will be moving in and vice versa by the time the deadline rolls around. Show me who you think will be in the Chase and more importantly who will hoist the trophy in November?

I'd like to see JR make it into the chase. With the changes made with the team this year he should do better but only time will tell. Like too many other drivers he has talent and a temper. The temper part can only work against you.

Although I think it is REALLY early to start throwing out predictions, I'll play along. I am going to take in to account the fact that at this point last year Jeff Gordon had 2 wins and didn't even make the Chase though.

Kenseth gets my vote for taking it all home this year.
After that, I think you have to include most of the usual suspects, Stewart, Johnson, Gordon, Jr. I also think Edwards will get in again. Mark Martin will probably squeak his way in again. Unfortuantly, I think at least one of the brothers Busch will get in. Kahne seems to really have it together, and I have to give him a Chase nod. My Wild Card pick goes to Denny Hamlin.

Just for the record, I want to mention that I left out my 2 favorite drivers, my main man Newman, no neck or not, and Reed Sorenson.

One other thing about Newman, don't hate on him because he's smarter than most crew cheifs(Auto Engineering degree from Purdue.) Although he really doesn't have much of a neck. I'll give you that.
