I didn't get that message. What I'm more interested in at this point is what Teresa has to say. For a long time I've always been in her defense about not being at the track. I can only wonder now if that isn't part of the reason why Jr feels they were so far apart in the negotiations. I also suspect that Max Seigal will be responsible for being the point person for DEI now.

I was the same way, Steve. But, from what I've heard Junior say, and from Teresa's silence, plus the fact that this Seigel charactor pegs my "Don't Trust" Meter, I'm coming around to having a new-found respect for Junior.

Let's not forget in all of this, Jr has had his sister Kelly in his ear and most likely speaking on his behalf on some occasions the entire time

not sure how much, if any, influence she has had in him leaving

I think Kelley played a major part.

One thing I didn't know until this week was that Dale and teresa sent Kelley and Junior to a military school. That doesn't sound like one of Senior's ideas to me.

Pretty hard to tell. Jr doesn't make a great impression when he makes public appearances,. He just doesn't seem real at ease speaking, but I don't think he is some country bumpkin that just fell off the turnip truck. I'm sure he knows what he wants and what he is worth and just how negotiations work.
