Birmingham, AL is always rated as being in the top ten of dirtyest air in the nation. To help with the smog they have been using ethanol (I am not sure of the percentage) for about ten years now. They start using the mix may 1st and continue trough October. I have not noticed any difference in performance but miles per gallon drops.
