I don't think it'll run tonight either.

So will you start a new Live Chat for tomorrow?

Let us know what time and what channel the race will be on, ok?

F1 cars don't weigh 3400lbs and have TONS of downforce.

JimmyJohnson raised issue of Dirt track experience... I share his frustration... Why hamper these drivers... NASCAR, get the F- out the way, and lets get real!!!

We can most certainly do a live chat. It'll be right here at this thread. I may be away tomorrow depending on the time it is run. We are going to do a high altitude hot air ballon flight. Penny you might be able to see it !!!! The pilot is shooting for 25,000 feet. Oxygen and FAA approval required. Projected winds at that height is for 85 MPH's headed south west. The chase for the landing will be interesting at the very least !!!

Re: Crown Royal Presents The Jim Stewart 400 - Richmond, VA

Ok come on Nevada... do you really think the drivers cant handle themseleves if they get a set of tires that they know they can ride on if necessary...? 3400ILbs and lots of down force, just a matter of playing with the car for a specific setup, even in light rain (not I am not supporting a hurricanr rainstorm race!) Wiper blades...? thats another issue, ok they fail... so does a fuel pump, if you cant see, its the pits for you and repair....

I'm not saying it can't be done, but at the moment the current tire technology is not ready for 3400 lb cars going in circles on wet tracks. I think it would just turn into a demolition derby, obviously Na$car does too.

Current technology...? has anyone asked the question...? I think not! I bet the TV networks would fund development just to avoid screwing up their advertising revenue and schedules!!
