| Re: Come on people! It is shameful that folks do that dumb stuff. I find it embarassing the lengths a few, and I do mean few, drunken morons will take things. I was just watching Wind Tunnel, and the majoirty did take it as a tribute, as intended. |

| Re: Come on people! I don't get it either. I can't see why everybody's nose is out of joint about this. I thought it very rude and insulting that people were throwing things at him while he did it. Jeez, if Jr. doesn't have a problem with it, why should anybody else? We all know if Dale Sr. was still alive he'd probably have quite a few more wins under his belt and Jeff would still be playing the 'catch up' game. There's only 2 drivers out there today that I can't stand, and I wouldn't waste the time or energy of throwing a beer at either of them.

I'm sure there is some man-law somewhere that says it is an official sin to throw beer !!! |

| Re: Come on people! I know some people made a huge deal about it, but when I looked and heard the crowd on tv, yes I did notice some things flying, but I think I heard a lot more cheers than boos. I think they were cheering him on. I think there were noticeably less jeers than if he didn't do that flag tribute. Did I hear wrong? |

| Re: Come on people! OK ... so here is the scenerio. It is now the end of the race, you've been sipping beer all afternoon. At this point you can't tell if it is bad or not. You're beyong the legal limits for driving. Why throw "GOOD" beer away ??? |

No, I wasn't at the race, I was there the following week... watched the race at the NASCAR Cafe, drank a lot of beer. Nope, didn't throw any beer when JJ won. |

| Re: Come on people! That's sad really, that fans stoop that low. I mean what's the point of even dishing out $$$ to go to a race and just get smashed? I think it was awsome and emotional at the same time, what Jeff did. If Jr, gave the OK then, I think it's OK. I was listening to Nascar Radio yesterday and they came up with some solutions Why should 160,000 fans pay for the actions of 5-10 people? And by what I mean is, they were talking about banning beer from the stands, but that will never happen Sorry to switch topics...
