I can remember years ago when a young hot rod came on the scene and no one liked him or his flair for telling the press what was on his mind. And the name is DW. He surely shook up the NASCAR world. When he got into negotiations with Junior the question was asked, "What is he (DW) gonna get if he wins?". Junior said "I'll tell ya what he'll get ifin he dont". And so the saga began. Thats one owner I wished never left the sport. In 1968 I met Junior for the first time and my daddy said "This here's a great man son, he will set the standards for this way of life". I thought he lookes like a giant. But then years later after I got a few summers under my belt he didnt seem so much a giant no more. Growing up sucks sometimes. Things become smaller, like the world. I can go 250 miles north of the Canadian border to go moose hunting and either myself or my father will run into someone we knew from either the Navy or racing. The world gets smaller every day. And getting old sucks.

I like Tony! He is just like most of us, he is far from perfect, and says and does dumb stuff sometimes.

I'm so tired of all the same stuff from drivers. Even Victory lane is a ceremony.

Wait for the break to be over.

All without saying anything intersting.

I love Tony Stewart of course everyone knows that! LOL! I like he has his old mean attitude back! He does better! I was hoping he broke it off with his girlfriend but not so! Darn it! LOL! I watched Tony climb the fence right in front of me at Eldora last year and I'm going in June and got the same seat just in case he wins! LOL! I like him because he speaks his mind and some drivers are afraid to do that! Go Tony Go!

Lil, there is a difference between speaking your mind and spouting off before you engage your brain. If it had been a one time event then I could excuse it but he has a tendancy to say one thing and do another.

You should have seen him on tv at the shorter tracks when he first got started! This is nothing compared to the way he used to be.

It sounds like most of agree we like the fact that Tony speaks his mind. The problem is he talks how others drive and then turns around and does what he accuses others of doing wrong.

TOTAL IDIOT!!!!!.....he thinks nascar sucks ,,,then get yourself down the road you punk...!!!!!!..the worst champion in nascar history.!!!!!!,,,it showed in saturday's nites bush race against Newman ,,,,,he was doing the hitting not Newman..!!!!!Nascar better do something about this out of control punk before he hurts someone..!!!!,,but then again i can see him killing someone and that "HEAD" of Nascar getting out his ruler and popping his spoiled little hand.....i cannot Gibbs & Home depot puts up with his stupid antics.!!!!!......the guy is a total dumb a@#$#@,,,, know wonder his dad does not like the little dip sh#@$#@!!!!!!!

Ryan was not innocent in all of that hitting either. I also don't think Tony was the worst champion either. While I'm not a fan of Tony I don't like to see him get blamed for something that wasn't all him.
