i think i may have finally done it

after months of creating debate and peeing contests, i may have finally created a thread most everyone will agree with

NASCAR qualifying needs to be by time and time alone so long as weather permits

you actually need to go fast or go home

no more provisionals ..... no exemptions ...... no owner points

top speeds qualify and the rest pack it up and head to the next track to try again

Oh Simon if only you could run Nascar it might be more enjoyable. I really wish they would do the fastest 43. I've said before if Jr. or Gordon and em can't get in on time, let em go home like others have to do now. I've gotten sick of the top 35 and past champ provisional, just take the fastest 43 and be done.

Sounds good to me! If John Force can be sent packing in NHRA this past weekend, some of these folks can earn their way in or put em on the trailer!

I never knew so much went into just starting the race. Why even make them run a qualifying lap if they don't need it to make the race. Just figure out a formula that uses the points and exemptions and delegate who gets the pole. It is about as fair.

Using the points is what we would like to see them do away with. Stop guaranteeing the top 35 a starting spot and make them all qualify, and take the fastest 43 and everyone else go home. Some in the top 35 are not always in the 43 fastest.

I have to agree that no one should get a free ride into any race. NASCARFAN24 can you explain your reasoning for the amount you have chosen ?

someone awhile ago sejested that the top 10 of the previous race would be locked in , thats not to bad if youre going to give va freebie.

how ever they should do it, everyone should start the season evan no lastyears points crap.
last year is gone and it a new season and a new slate for all
