All points go to the driver who starts the race after they have completed one green flag lap. That is why if a driver is sick or injured he has to complete one green flag lap before they can put a substitute driver in.

Boy, can you tell I'm tired right now? I mean that he was going to stop driving and find a replacement FOR himself, not that he was going to replace himself. That'd be kind of hard to do.
