| Re: Oh, Mikey, Mikey, Mikey! PPS I will not chime in except to say if Nit Wit and Dim Wit has made there bed hard then they should lie in it. O what the heck I will chime in. If a person is so much of an idiot to leave the scene of a wreck then he should git all that is dished out at him. As you read in the article he didn't report the wreck even after he sobered up the next day. He divinity was hiding this information and he knew he couldn't hide it to well just like in Daytona he ant to good at hiding his stupid crap. I do think his moronic brother will try and play it off as he just wasn't thinking, and he may be right because you have to have a brain to think and we all know that ant happening. Dang these two village idiots do make bashing them very easy.

| Re: Oh, Mikey, Mikey, Mikey! FOX Sports - NASCAR - Witness: 'I didn't think anybody was alive in there' after Waltrip accident This is the story about the witness. A little of his story sounds fishy, but then again I am no fan of his so I'll admit that I might be a bit biased.

Amazing how it is so fast that it can hit a pole and tip over but the race car cannot go fast enough to qualify for a race. |

| Re: Oh, Mikey, Mikey, Mikey! It does just keep getting worse for him. As far as leaving the scene, since his car was still there he wasn't trying to hide the fact that he did it. He would have probably been alright if he would have called and reported it when he got home. If I wreck a mile from my house, I'm walking home, not gonna sit at that time of the morning and hope someone comes by.Also saw on Nascar Now where they said it was not alcohol or drug related. |

You may very well be correct but it just looks bad. O.J. also said he didn't kill his ex wife. I got a little trouble swallowing that one too. |

Funny ... well not really "funny", but the first thing I thought of was Chappaquiddick. The second thing I thought of was OJ. Something's not right here. If someone called 911, why didn't he wait? He had to be drunk. He went home because he didn't know what to do? How can he not know what to do? Hello? The fans were already turning on him. This will make it even worse! ![]() http://www.smileycentral.com/sig.jsp?pc=ZSzeb114&pp=ZN

| Re: Oh, Mikey, Mikey, Mikey! A snippet from thatsracin.com on Mikey ... Saying he didn’t know that even though his vehicle was the only one involved he was still required to report the incident and remain at the scene until law enforcement arrived, Waltrip walked less than a mile to his home after climbing out of the wreckage. Who of you out there don't know that if you wreck your car, and no other car is involved, you still have to call and wait for the police? He rolled the SUV! It's not like he bumped into a pole and dented the bumper! ![]() http://www.smileycentral.com/sig.jsp?pc=ZSzeb114&pp=ZN |

| Re: Oh, Mikey, Mikey, Mikey! I doubt if there are many, or even any, people out there who have disliked almost everything Waltrip as long as I have. That being said, the entire Mikey Saga is so darn screwed up, and the guy has had so much ca-ca hit the fan since February, I just can't bring myself to jump on him for this one. He's messed up in so many ways that I find myself feeling (no "almost" this time, LSC) a degree of pity for him. He'll probably have a press conference tomorrow at Texas and if he does, he'll undoubted try to put the best face on this that he can. Hopefully it won't be another pitiful mea culpa as was his "My daughter asked me 'why?'" apology he gave after the manifold incident. MIkey has obviously bitten off a lot more than he was ready to chew and as much as I dislike him, I don't relish the thought of him failing so completely.
