| Re: Denver or Seattle? if so... It seems to me there was talk of a track in the Seattle area a year or two ago. But the place they were talking about was logistically challenged. It was an island accessable only by one two-lane road, and a ferry. |

| Re: Denver or Seattle? if so... Riddle me this, Batman... Why are they so hot to have a track in Denver when ISC just bought, and I believe is in the process of tearing up, a -perfecting good track do at Colorado Springs. They ran BGN races there, it was a modern facility and was only about 65 miles south of downtown Denver, right on I-25. They wanted one in Chicago and settled for Joliet, which is about 40 miles south west of the loop. The traffic from Denver to Colorado Springs is a whole lot lighter than the traffic from Chicago to Joliet. Maybe its just me but something seems "strange" about NASCAR's interest in Denver, at the cost of tearing up the Pikes peak track. How about this, sports fans... Let the teams run their cars up the mountain for the PIkes Peak Hillclimb (*if they even still run it?). Make it a points event for the NASCAR class.
