The Samsung is going to be my first NASCAR race ever...taking my dad as an early fathers day gift.

1st - No doubt...#8...beats Johnson by a nose

As a bonus I sure hope the whiner (Gordon) gets a close up view of the wall in turn 4. I would love to wave to him as he climbs out and lets the tow truck hook up.

Was hoping for some tips and pointers in an earlier post being this is my very first race...didnt get many takers.

Oh gosh, XD I hope no one crashes, although I must admit, it makes the races that much more intense. I wish I could give you some tips, but I've never been to a race... but they always have those websites just for newcomers, tips on what to do and what not to do.

Well I am still so new at this that the only way I found myself to the NASCAR forum was to click on the link in my e-mail that told me you sent a reply to me. What am I doing wrong? Anyway, your right the 24 is due, however, my 17 got pretty lucky in California with Harvicks flat tire, and the caution that allowed our pit crew (the amazing "Killer Bee's) to get Kenseth in front of Johnson for our only win. We got lucky, but these days a win takes a little luck. My point is that the 17 is due as well. He is due for a domination victory. And while I do want the 24 to meet the wall (and escape without injury of course), I really want the 17 to have a good run. I admit I don't like Gordon, but I respect him. My dislike comes from respect, because he's so darn good, so please take my dislike as a compliment. I really would not care if Johnson, Gordon, and Kenseth all had good runs, as long as my 17 gets a well needed top 5. I am so sick of the 48 being in victory lane, I was actually hoping Gordon won in Martinsville. And to be honest, Gordon should have been more angry, being that Chad got his setup from Latard or however you spell his name. Well I am babbling now. See you on Sunday. That is so cool you are going to the race. I am a Kenseth fan, but my #2 this Sunday will be the 8, because you will actually be there. I agree with the 24 going itno the wall, but I took it back with Farf in the NASCAR forum because the 24 is his (or her's :-\) driver, and we all know how bad it hurts when our driver endsw the race early with a DNF, so I can't reall wish that for the 24, but I won't be in tears if it does. I didn't realize you were going to the race, and for some reason I thought your were a Gordon fan. Silly me!! That is cool your taking your dad. I have no tips because I have never gone as well. Just buy lots of stuff and drink lots of beer if that's your thing. Have a great time!!!

XD Yeah, I know what you mean. Although I don't dislike Jimmie or hate him, I really, really wanted Jeff to win. I mean, I was just on the edge of my bed, eyes glued to the screen. I never thought that I would be so upset after a race, but Jimmie's win just really irked me. It was an emotional win for both drivers, and it was just intense. I feel sorta bad about it, just because I'm a Hendrick fan in general, and I'm not the type to hate up on one driver or more. I can't help but dislike Jimmie a little bit.

As for Matt, well I'm not sure of my opinion on him. I haven't really seen or heard anything about him this year, although he's doing well. Some of the interviews that I have seen with him seem very mild and tame compared to that of other drivers. He seems like a good guy though, very subtle. Hmm... the quiet ones are the ones you gotta look out for. Watch out for that #17!

You're obviously new at the marriage game. The only place I think I could put a 20 sticker is on the inside of the cover that goes on the top of the toilet ... and then I'm not sure I'd even do that !!!
