I've never been one to dislike Gordon or anything. And yes, the guy did come over to apologize to him, but man, he should've let Jeff cool off a little first. Still, you've got to admit that the little shoving match was kinda funny looking, especially considering Gordon still had his helmet on.

I couldnt recall the name if I had to but one of the great football players ohad a quote he said," you can always tell a guy a rookie if he takes his helment off to fight". so Jeff was using his head.

I seriously doubt Kenseth intentionally spun Wonder Boy. Matt was frustrated because he probably would have won the race if Jarrett hadn't held him up, which let Busch gain ground. I'm sure he just wanted to "bump and run" him, like Kurt had done to him.
Jeffy has done that several times to others on short tracks and always gets away with it. The biggest issue I have with him, is he can dish it out, but can't take it. Matt was man enough to instantly come up to him to apologize, but Gordon showed the true spoiled brat he is and chose to be a punk.

Ref Smoke+Gibb fans...Welcome to the forum...everyone seems to have a good time here and is an outlet for some of the frustrations and thrills of the sport...additionally, it gives us a chance to see who and how many see things "out way"...which brings me to this: Having taped and cd'd races since early 80', and having gone over them to verify your comment regarding JG saying something like 'well, it's just racing' or something like that...I fail to find any occastion after a race (on race-day) that Gordon forgave anyone...it's just not his style... He comes off as a pretty boy with an I'm more talented than you and if you win instead of me, I'm a gonna be "upset". Ever notice that where ever die cast is sold, his gains most dust? That's because both of his fans can't get to every store....(humor is intended here...not offense.)

You can crap on Gordon all you want , but show me any race that plays out like this and I'll show you at least one angry driver who really has no reason to put on the innocent act. They have all done the same as Gordon. I'm not a Gordon/Hendricks fan but they do have a great team. I also agree that when you have a year like they had last year then tempers will flare when opportunities are missed through no fault of your own.

If lack of success was an acceptable excuse for shoving people and driving however you wanted, then Hermie Sadler would wreck 10 to 20 cars out of every race and then follow it up with punching out a few dozen more drivers after every race.

Jeff Gordon wasn't the jerk, Kenseth was. Go back and look again. Kenseth walked up to Gordon who just had gotton out of the car. He should have waited for Jeff to get his helmet off and cool down. Kenseth was looking for an altercation. Sounds to me like Kenseth is the one crying.

I was on the road and listening on the radio until the end of the race. I wish they would have showed Matt Attempting to pass Jerrett before bush got into Matt, Maybe Matt should get more aggressive when he is held up and give a few taps to get by next time. I am glad the yellow didn't come out.
Any race is a good race when Gordon and Johnson crash out of the race 1st Bush too !!!

Hey rmjvol where have you been, I have been defending Jeff all by myself here. Seems like I am the only one. I can't figure out what is wrong with everybody. If this had been Dale Sr. (nothing against him) it would have been A OK.
